Step 9: If you have any extra toppings, add them now. Chocolate chips, caramel, nuts, etc. Banana???
Step 10: Place the pan in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Check on it often after 20 minutes, as ovens and your preferred consistencies may vary.

Alternate cannabis infusion options
to substitute cannabutter
Cannabis Concentrates
Cannabis concentrates have to be infused with oil, unlike cannabutter which is infused with butter. So we use cannabis concentrates to make cannabis oils. It tastes delicious, btw.
Cannabis coconut oil
This is a great option if you are dairy-free. It is also vegan and can be used in various cannabis recipes.
It works awesome for these homemade weed brownies. In addition, cannabis oil has a good shelf life.
Cannabis Olive oil
Yes, this is possible. This is also plant-based and dairy-free. It can be used in almost all marijuana food recipes. This will leave you with an oliveish taste and extra chewy pot brownies.
If you prefer cakey brownies, regular butter is better. However, Canna oil truly works well and has a nice shelf life.
Cannabis-Infused Sugar
As stated previously, you can swap out the sugar for cannabis-infused sugar. Recipe here. You can't go wrong with infused sugar in this pot brownies recipe.
Leftover cannabis pulp
If you desire, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of leftover cannabis pulp to your brownie mix. Add this to the chocolate mixture as an extra ingredient. This may alter the texture of your marijuana brownies.
This plant matter can be very fibrous, so make sure it is the right consistency before adding it.
Decarboxylated cannabis
You could add decarbed weed or decarbed kief into this recipe. Just mix it with the flour mixture. This may end up leaving a strong taste. It may mask the chocolate flavor.
FAQ:
Can I use a store-bought brownie mix?
Yes, you can. The only thing you would need to add to the store-bought brownie mix is the cannabutter recipe or one of the oils.
Secrets to Make Boxed Brownies Taste Delicious
Try these to spice up your brownie mix to get an even better result.
Swap out any amount of the water for hot coffee. If you replace all the water, it will taste very coffee-ish. I would recommend using 1/3 strong coffee and 2/3 water.
If looking for more of a cake mixture, use butter instead of oil. In short, the butter will help aerate the batter, causing it to rise better. If you prefer fudgy, stick with oil.
Replace the egg-white weight with egg yolk if you prefer fudgy. Less rise, more fudge.
Sea salt flakes! Sprinkle some on top after it has come out of the oven. This will balance out the sweetness.
Nuts. When your brownies are halfway cooked, sprinkle in any nut of your choice. This will cause a semi-top layer of nuts. Optionally mix them into the batter before cooking for a more even spread.
How much weed should I use for my cannabutter?
This is extensively covered in the guide on how to make cannabis-infused butter. It all comes down to how much bud you're comfortable with and how much thc% your weed has. Tell your local dispensary about your brownie plans, and they will help you!
This recipe calls for as much as you're comfortable with. If you plan to make more brownies shortly or other foods with cannabutter, make more than you need today.
Always remember, how much cannabis YOU consume is up to you. If it is your first time getting high, check out this post.
What kind of high should I expect?
Not the same type of high as when smoking weed. When ingesting thc, the effects can be quite different. Many cannabis users have never had pot brownies or any other edible. The effects may last for much longer and be sort of psychedelic.
Cannabis edibles are not to be taken lightly. They may also take time to kick in, so be patient and dose low for the first times until you get a good feel for the edible brownies experience.
Good luck!
Enjoy your weed brownie! I hope they make your day! If you haven't already, get out your baking pan and start baking. I hope you have enjoyed my guide on making easy pot brownies. Cannabis flower man out!
